Mac Mail
- Click File ยป New Account.
- Enter your name as you want it displayed, your email address, and your MyWestern Password in the appropriate fields and click Continue.

- Set Account Type to IMAP and type a description if you so choose. For Incoming Mail Server, enter mail.cc.wwu.edu and enter your MyWestern user name and password in the fields below.

- If a security warning pops up, be sure to click Connect.

- On the next screen, you may leave the Description field blank. Enter mail.restek.wwu.edu for the Outgoing Mail Server and check the box for Use only this server. Do not check the Use Authentication box.

- Review your information at the next screen, and if it is all correct, make sure Take account online is checked and click Create.

- When you are back at your inbox, open the Mail menu and click Preferences.
- Under the Account Information, click the drop-down box next to Outgoing Mail Server and select Edit Server List.

- Click the Advanced tab and set the server port to 587. Make sure Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is checked and Authentication is set to none. Click OK to save.

- You’re done! You should now be able to send and receive your MyWestern email using Mac Mail.
