A: Yes! You can print to the residence hall lab printers from your room with iprint.
Q: How do I access my Western E-mail through an email client?
A: We have instructions for setting up Thunderbird, Outlook and Outlook Express for use with your MyWestern E-mail address.
Q: What is the U: drive?
A: The U: drive is a place where you can store files and access them from almost anywhere!
Q: How can I access the U: drive when I’m not on a lab computer?
A: You can access the U: drive either on the internet via MyFiles or add it as an actual drive using WebDav.
Q: Where can I see information about my network usage?
A: You can use MyStats to check your network usage and the status of your ResTek help tickets.
Q: How can I contact ResTek?
A: The “contact us” page has information on how to contact us.
Q: How can I speed up web browsing?
A: If you haven’t already, you can enable the proxy and it may speed up your browsing speed.
Q: I am a new student and I can’t get on the internet. What do I do?
