Computer manufacturer customer service

Many companies have support available by phone, email, online chat, or message boards. Before you get support, have the following information ready: product number and serial number, operating system (Windows XP/Vista/etc), messages displayed when the problem occurs, any recent changes made to your computer, and what you’ve done already to try to solve the problem. Depending on your product and warranty, some companies may charge a support fee.
