Attempts to Dial

If your computer attempts to dial a connection and you are trying to use an Ethernet connection, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Start > Control Panel > Internet Options.
  2. Click the Connections Tab.

  3. Under the Dial-up settings, click Never Dial a Connection.
  4. Click OK to save your settings.
