Windows Universal ID Password Reset

If you have previously connected to the WWUResTek-secure network and have recently changed your Universal ID password, try the following. (Mac OS X Instructions)

Windows Vista and 7

  1. Click on the Wireless Networking symbol in taskbar on the lower right of your screen, then click on Open Network and Sharing Center.
  2. On the left side of the window, click on Manage Wireless and Networks.
  3. Select the WWUResTek-secure network from the list, and click Remove.
  4. Reconnect to the WWUResTek-secure network using the instructions here, entering your new Universal Login password.

WINDOWS 8

  1. Click on the  Wireless Networking symbol in the taskbar on the lower right of your screen, then right click the WWUResTek-secure network and click “Forget.”
  2. Reconnect to the WWUResTek-secure network using the instructions here, entering your new Universal Login password.

The above instructions do not work in Windows 8.1, to delete your network profile in 8.1:

  1. Open PC Settings and go to Network.
  2. In the Connections section, look for Wi-Fi and the “Manage known networks” link. Click or tap on it.
  3. Windows 8.1 displays a list with the wireless networks for which its stores connection details.
  4. Select the WWUResTek-secure network press Forget.
  5. Reconnect to the WWUResTek-secure network using the instructions here, entering your new Universal Login password.

WINDOWS 10

  1. Click on the Wireless Networking symbol in the lower-right corner of your screen
  2. Select Network settings at the bottom.
  3. Scroll down and select “Manage Wifi Settings”.
  4. Under Manage Known Networks, select WWUResTek-secure and click/tap on Forget
  5. Reconnect to the WWUResTek-secure network using the instructions here, entering your new Universal Login password.
