Server prioritization
ResTek does its best to provide fast connections to game servers, because we know that games are so latency-sensitive. In order to improve performance, we will add such servers to a “host list” on our packet shaper. This will allow for traffic to and from the specified servers to get through at a higher priority, often meaning drastically reduced latency, especially during our peak usage hours.
To have a server added to our list, please post your request on our prioritization request thread.

Console registration
In order to use your gaming console’s online services, it must be registered on the network like any other device; however, because most gaming consoles cannot run an internet browser, they cannot navigate our registration process. It is therefore necessary for you to provide us with the console’s MAC address manually through our device registration form. The listed instructions will help you locate your console’s MAC address.
